Read this http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=25137 Do they accualy expect people to buy a new monitor to use Windows Vista???

This is nuts, Why would you ever upgrade you OS to Vista?

I dont think you will have to buy a new Monitor. I have tried Vista with no problem on my Monitor. Also this was posted yesterday

Microsoft isn't that stupid...they wouldn't make you upgrade something like your monitor to get windows vista to work. That site is a load of **** when it comes to microsoft news...

Well mor than likly there will be 3rd party stuff to make it work with older monitors anyways. I dont know how its supose to do this because there is no way people who spent almost 300+ on their video cards are going to go buy a new video card to run windows

Here it is, straight from MSDN:

System Requirements
Minimum system requirements will not be known until summer 2006 at the earliest. However, these guidelines provide useful estimates:

•512 megabytes (MB) or more of RAM
•A dedicated graphics card with DirectX® 9.0 support
•A modern, Intel Pentium- or AMD Athlon-based PC.

No one is going to have to buy a new monitor. Where do those journalists come up with that crap?? Sheesh. I am less concerned about the hardware requirements than the rumors floating around about DRM support... That is what makes me VERY nervous....
