Default Administrator Lockout in XP

I have been using XP on my Dell XPS laptop now for a couple years.

Today I went to disable some useless processes on my boot to determine that my one and only profile on XP is not an Administrator. I booted in safe mode to find a second Administrator account that requires a password.

My problem is that I do not have or know of what the password is to that file. Is there any way to resolve this and return true authority to my user admin account?

The default admin password should be blank, did you try that?

If you can, log in with the admin account and go to user options and from there you can add yourself to the administrators group
