Default Microsoft out of Vista?
What is this. I ordered a DVD from Microsoft about a month ago, only to get an email on the day I was suppose to recieve it stating they were out of stock, and would expect to get more in 2 more weeks. I waited, and now I got ANOTHER email from Microsoft, stating there out of stock and now there new expected ship date is 9/11/08 WHAT IS THIS. This just looks really bad on their part, considering they made the software.

I'm contemplating on cancelling the order now. But I still need the Vista SP1 disc, whats a guy to do?

Nonono. I just need the MEDIA. Not a key. I paid $16 for a disc from Microsoft. I'm not blowing $100 on Vista.

I would have done that, if I didn't get 80 kbp/s on an average download. I have DSL, and we can barely get it. It's just so sad I can't even buy a legit copy of Windows Vista Ultimate.

They were a little slow sending my Vista Business SP1 x64 DVD, but it eventually got here. Sorry to hear you're having so much trouble getting a simple piece of plastic from them.
