Default Dumping Physical Memory bsod

When shutting down Vista Business x32 it stops at a bsod with the error "Dumping physical memory and *** STOP: 0x0000007F (0x00000008, 0x80154000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) however no programs are mentioned that cause the problem, any ideas?

My research found this for you :

This error message can occur if either of the following conditions exists:
•Your computer has hardware or software problems (hardware failure is the most common cause).
•You try to over clock the speed of your computer's processor (for example, you set a 150 MhZ processor to run at 187 MhZ). (HAHA ! that's funny because were on a overclocking forum)

The above STOP error means a trap occurred in kernel mode and the trap is either one the kernel is not allowed to have or is always fatal. The most common causes of a STOP 0x7F are:
•Low-level hardware corruption, such as corrupt memory (RAM)
•Mismatched memory modules
•A malfunctioning motherboard

Hope that helps you. If you find a post helpful you know what to do

Yes, If you are able to find out what the numbers in paranthesis (4 sets) after the inital error belong to which driver and piece of hardware.

edit : STOP: 0x0000007F **(0x00000008, 0x80154000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)***

So your ideas were one/more than one of the following:

Hardware failure
software failure
bad overclock

And that is so general I don't think it could possibly be helpful... ha ha

you could try and use windbg and try and debugg the bsod....now what you are seeing with the hex number...is first is

address of memory where the mishap took place then goes (argument 1; argument 2; argument 3; argument 4)

if you learn how to debugg alittle then you might be able to fix your problem so it won't happen again...

i am going through some weird bsod's very random and each time i look at the memory dump that gives all the information about the bsod...
