Also, I had a media card reader installed... I just unplugged that and now it hangs after the xp disk loads up. When I hit enter to setup XP, nothing happens.

I plugged media card reader back in now and I am getting the old problem. This time the bios says: setupdd.sys
I need a way to format these two hard drives so they become readable by xp.

Yeah my nlite disk had the wrong drivers anyway. I couldn't figure out how to get the intel ones on it. Are there any programs that will just format the hard drives and make them readable?

Unplug all your periperals except the mouse, monitor, and keyboard. See what happens for me.
