Default Limiting System Restore HDD usage in Vista?

Is there a way in Vista to limit the amount of copies System Restore uses to just one restore point? I am running really low on room and I need space until I can grab another HDD. I know I can go and delete all the extra restore points, but I want to it to not make more than one. It eats up like 50-60GB of space that I could really use, and it's annoying having to go and manually delete them all the time.

Thanks in advance.
