Windows XP Pro Failed Install
I have an msi 6380-e ultra 2 board with a Nvidia GForce 6200 AGP 256 MB Card. 80 Gig WD Hard Drive on master with a dvd burner and cdrw. I Formatted the hard drive and did the 1st part of the setup in windows xp and allowed it to reboot and setup hangs?

Have you tried again? I've had that issue before, but make sure you're not running overclocked while it's installing, check to make sure the computer is stable. If anything though, I'd just try the setup more than once.

if its a brand new hd you only need to do a quickie. if its a hd you have used before, use the full. as for it hanging up, you might want to check your cpu settings and mem settings. it could be the fact that its not liking a setting you made in bios. if you are not sure too what it might be, set your bios to Default settings and try to let it boot xp again, if it doesnt want to boot, then you might want to try reinstalling xp one more time.
what ram are you using and what cpu.
