right now I have vista and my programs on one drive, then my user folders one a second and 80gb of DVDs on a third drive.
What's the most painless way of reformatting? I have a ton of programs installed. I plan on using vlite to minimize the install, so any tips with that is appreciated as well.

Well majority (if not all) of your programs will need to be reinstalled. Your documents can just be saved to anotehr driver and then copied back once you install.
I think there are some nice threads about vliting Vista round here.

My set-up is Vista/Programs/Games on my Veloci... Music/Documents/Pics/Movies/Etc. on my 250GB...
Formatting is no sweat.. I just reinstall windows and all programs and games. Reformatting is a good way to clean out a system and get rid of programs that are old and you no longer use. (as well as games)
