Is there a way to make vista stop blocking startup programs, and asking permission EVERY TIME open certain programs? Can all this be done without having a security message pop up all the time? Thanks. +rep.

go to the search bar at the bottom of the start menu, type in msconfig, go to the tools tab, scoll down and look for disable UAC and click launch, restart and your done.

Hy...you can disable in Control Panel in Users Panel this pop-up permision...
Windows Vista has the built-in ability to automatically reduce the potential of security breeches in the system. It does that by automatically enabling a feature called User Account Control (or UAC for short). The UAC forces users that are part of the local administrators group to run like they were regular users with no administrative privileges. Go to Control Panel/Users and disable this User Acount Control..

when you bring up msconfig, you have to also click on "change how windows alerts me or something like that and click on the one that says do not, i think your supposed to do this before you disable UAC
