Vista 64 for gaming - Overclock.net

i am building my first comp. i have been wanting vista 64 bit. how good good do games like bf2, cod4, farcry2, hl2 play. i was told running 32 bit apps on 64 run slower because they have be emulated down to 32 bit. i want to make the leap to 64. but am a lil weary. please give me some feedback on how well your games play.i want to run the newest games to come and a good chunk of the older(mostly 4 years ago or so) . is it wise to go 64 or safer to stick with 32.. it is gonna suck if i pay 1800 for a comp and the damn thing dont play many games

I play COD4 with 100FPS at all times. Have fun with your awesome machine, yes get vista 64.
