Installed 1TB Seagate hard drive, seen in device manager but cant access it

I just put in a new hard disk, 1TB Seagate, and I can see it in the BIOS and I can see it in the Device manager, but under the "My Computer" section I dont see it and I cannot access it... I'm running Windows XP Pro.
__________________Any ideas? I'm stumped... lol

Did you format it in the Device manager? That should be the problem.

Right click on My Computer, and go to Disk Management. You should see it there. Right click it and Format (Quick Format) it to NTFS. It'll show up then

You may also need to download Seagate Tools for DOS, and burn the ISO to a disk and make a boot disk. Restart, boot into Seagate Tools, and set the maximum size on the drive/get the drive to be recognized.
