very nice guide think im going use NEXTlevel vista looks pretty sleek. also Tuneup Utilities has a built in theme manger that works great too.

so for some reason i cant select aero as a scheme, anyone know why?

no, it was like this before i modified the themes with vistaglazz, just never did anything about it.

Is your version of windows legit? I don't see any other reason why Aero wouldn't be in there.

Check your themes folder, see if there is a folder called "Aero" in there. If not I could upload it for you.

ya my vista is legit, i got it from M$ themselves
there is an Aero theme in there, but when i double click on the msstlye it just brings me to vista basic.

After talking to a few people, I have confirmed that if VistaGlazz is installed and the files are patched, Aero is removed as an available theme. To get it back you just have to use the revert utility in VistaGlazz.

Honestly this method is pretty fail proof. VistaGlazz does everything for you and the rest is double clicking a file and pressing "apply".
