and i deleted them and still have same issue.

and i didnt delete those files you mentioned. i just put the files i got from these thems and put them into the them folder.

first i did the vistaglazz button 1. "patch files"
then button 2. reboot.
You said you did "Button 1". Does that mean you only did the 1st icon? You need to patch using the first icon and the second icon.

That would definitely explain any problems you are having.

Edit: Also, you asked how to go back. VistaGlazz has a repair option to restore all original files. Not knowing that makes me think you did not read my whole guide, which also indicated that you skipped the second step of VistaGlazz patching.

This is odd. A theme should not interfere with any programs.

You could always just uninstall the patched files. Just use VistaGlazz again and press "restore" on both icons.

I'll try to figure out why it didn't work with steam. I've never heard of anything like that before...

So VistaGlazz basicly did not work on your system. You probably had something wrong with your system files in the first place, I can't think of anything to explain it. The Vista CD has an option to restore start up files, althought I'm not sure if that will repair the theme files.

Edit: Added another disclaimer after realizing that some people have system restore turned off. (Always a bad idea in my book.) Sorry about this dude, I don't really know why it would screw up on your install.

I was messing with you. I don't know why it's screwing up. I thought you had a pirated version.
