"How does it game? Any difference in gaming benchmarks? Any problems?"

"I have the 64bit and 32bit beta, I am looking at installing them on my 3 computers (2 PCs and a laptop)... but I'm not sure! Hehe."

OH YES
Windows 7 is a MAJOR upgrade from XP!

Very nice so far, not sure how I feel about the taskbar but eh....

now I just gotta get some of my apps like Photoshop and lightroom on it and see how they feel.
Yeah i'm pretty sure in a speed test, it beats Vista AND XP

Let me tell you something about Windows 7. I'm not normally what one would consider an MS fanboy. I use Windows and it gets the job done, but I don't go on and on about how great it is. It's software, it isn't going to change the world. I say this so you will know where I'm coming from.

Now that that's out of the way...Windows 7 is a pretty good piece of software. I tried it on my sig rig and everything I've done so far has behaved as well as or better than Vista. I liked it so much I decided to try it on my kids' rig. This thing is by no means top of the line. It's actually pretty much obsolete for all but basic work.

AMD64 3700+ Sandy core
1 gig DDR1 400
GeForce 6600GT
20 gig IDE HDD (normally an 80 gig but I put the 20 in to test Win7)

With that level of hardware, I honestly wasn't expecting much from Windows 7. Surprisingly enough, it seems to be running fine. I haven't tried any games yet (installing KotOR 2 as I type this), but everything else seems to be moving along almost as fast as it did in XP. I'm pretty happy with Windows 7 overall, and I will definitely be buying at least 1 copy when it ships for my sig rig, and possibly another copy for this old thing.

Yeah just go to the download link above, and then you can install Windows 7 on one partition, then install vista on the other and it will bring up a prompt at startup asking which OS you would like to boot from

I'm doin it on my Lappy now, and it works just great
