Default Vista crashes after bios update

i updated from 0703 to 1201 on a asus p5e3, now vista crashes sometimes on log on, or during use, ivr got my ram set to 1.80 stock from auto setting in bios, and now i just enabled acpi 2.0, maybe it was that?
1 thing to note it obviously removed my oc

has anyone else had problems with this bios version and mobo?
