Counterstrike is my most played game, cant get enough of it. I just threw the beta on my Desktop (Been using it on my lappy for a few months), and i cant seem to find a way to get Counterstrike: Source to work. All the steam games i have tried work just fine, just not counterstrike. Sorry if this has already been answered, but i couldn't seem to find an answer on here or google.

No such luck, i went into my old Vista folder, ran steam from there, it detected all my games but it did the same thing. The screen will go black, it will change to a lighter black, then ill get the counterstrike background with a black loading box on the bottom right, in what looks like counterstrike is in windowed mode, but with no border.
I have a 260 with the latest windows 7 drivers (Beta).

Still having troubles getting it to work. Cant find anything on this issue. I tried out TF:2, a source based game, and it works just fine. Any iput? I tried running it with compatibility mode but that never works with steam games....
Thanks in advanced!

Do you think it would be a good idea to go to 7068 then? Would that just involve an upgrade with the .iso, or a complete re-install?

The 181.71 beta driver for Windows 7 x64. Its the only one that i can find for Windows 7. Should i be using vista drivers?

Ya that's the first thing i did. Fresh install of steam with a fresh install of CSS. Then second was to try and run steam from my previous Vista install. I never tried to copy the game files over though, i don't really trust that with different OS.
