Do I have to make my USB key bootable with the HP tool?
__________________I did all the steps, no problems, but when trying to boot from the USB key it just says: Quote:
I want to install it this way because whenever I try to run the setup.exe from my laptop itself it refuses to install because the laptop currently has Vista32bit, and I want to install Win7 64bit. Silly windows...

This guide is okay, but there are other ones that let you create a 32-bit installer on a 64-bit system and vice versa. Unfortunately, I need to make a 64-bit installer on a 32-bit system. Thanks anyway.
I'm not sure about XP, but on Vista you don't need the HP program or DOS to format the USB drive. Go to Computer, right-click the USB drive, and choose format.
