Default Change Windows Drive Letter??
My windows wont let me change the drive letter for my HD. Any insite as to why??

You can only change HDDs that do not contain the Windows OS on it. My guess is it is too strenuous on the OS to update the registry and other settings if you were to change its drive letter.

Looking a bit further I found this...

Looks like it is not supported by Windows disk management software but perhaps a 3rd party utility could pull it off. Your apps and Windows might get screwed up though, if you try it and hose your system it is not my fault!
