Default Which windows?

My system is clogged up so I've decided to reinstall windows.

Which version of windows is recommended?
Any special way to install?

Uhh.. Windows XP? And no.. You just pop it in the CD/Dvd slot and boot from the disc, it guides you through everything.

Actually.. SP2 can do more harm than good sometimes, it caused some problems with games and programs that forced them to update.. IF you have good anti virus and spyware and firewall dont worry bout it, alot of people still run SP1.

Do a "Full Fornat" not the quick one when doing a reinstall!

While the only advantage here is checking the disk for errors...make sure you do NOT 'upgrade' to xp...this should be a clean sweep. Boot from the cd, don't just run it in windows...use ntfs, good luck. Takes me about 25min.
