Yeah, that's why I miss Xp. Just create a desktop folder, drag and drop and instant sidebar with no more desktop shortcuts.

exactly what i am trying to do. I REALLY miss my *my computer* side bar and my quick laung/address bar on the top.

I am now on the RC and they still have not unlocked it. i am starting to think this will be a feature windows 7 will be missing . HUGE problem for me ATM i have to many icons on my desktop and i hate not having fast access to all my drives and network drives
