__________________I was just wondering whether I can install windows sever 2008 on the same rig you see instead of vista and use it for daily tasks, and games, and if I can do that, what difference I can feel in general ??? should I add any more RAM, or any thing else ??? would the 2008 server be faster and quicker in general than vista x64???

Yes you can add it
No it won't be faster You'll be missing some Vista Ultimate stuff. But you can install it later.

Server was designed to be used for a server.
It will want to know why you want to turn it off etc, I'd not recommend it as there is no benefit to it, you will lose lots of features and the OS is more expensive.

If you want to have more admin/system tools, its a great day project to get working right
__________________ Back before Vista came out (well, more like before it was good) I ran Server 2003 as my main OS and it was awesome I tried Server 2008 on both my desktop and Dell Mini 9 and it was just as fun to setup and use as 03 was. I stopped using it for some unknown reason now that I think of it...
