Windows 7 64-bit only using 2GB??
Why does Windows 7 only let me use 2GB? I have 4GB... Pic below.

There is a setting in your BIOS to will allow all 4GB to be used.. not sure if you have but you should..
If not you could always try running msnconfig and forcing it to run 4GB of ram

What kind of BIOS setting???
__________________ And I tried setting the MSCONFIG to 4096, and 0, as the links say. 4096 doesn't change diddly-squat, and 0 forces 256MB. 256MB... That took awhile to recover from.

Go to command prompt>enter msconfig>Boot tab>Advanced Options>Uncheck Maximum Memory box
NM......It works on my UD3P for 8Gb ram.

I dont know about your mobo but asus has an option called memory remapping in the bios. gotta turn it off for 64 bit OS. Anything you do in windows will not work.
Or maybe turn it on i forget, but im sure thats your problem.
