Default help with Windows XP

how would I remove a windows installation from my master boot record ? I had XP and Vista running on 2 different drive, but removed Vista. Now for some reason it think's it has 6 different installations of Xp, but only boots to 1, no matter which I choose. Help please ?

Hell if I were you I'd just wipe the whole drive clean and re-install.

actually looks like it's for XP and previous; ur vista might not be found inside!

used to be back in the old days, you would boot off of a win98se start-up disk and run FDISK /MBR and it would rewrite it.

but now i think it still works if you have a floppy drive and a win98se startup disk.
