Hi

i really wanted to try windows 7
But i have questions:

What it the one you can get from the Microsoft.com website?beta?Rc?
Whats the difference between these? (RC,BETA etc)
What is in the BETA or whatever you get from the Microsoft website to the normal retail edition of windows 7 ultimate?
What features do i miss with the download from the website (the free trial) to windows 7 ultimate?

perfect im just about to get a new rig,without any os installed and thats what ill put on it,maybe a dual boot with something untill like SP2 or something come out,thinking Linux or Xp

the RC is the ultimate
starting march 1, 2010 your oc will restart every 2 hours
and come june 1, 2010 the trial has expired

I just installed it
and its great way faster then vista and xp
but my sound is not working
and no one is helping me in the thread i started =(
its driving me up the wall

There won't be a SP as it's only a beta and the full release is out in November.

I have it running on 2 rigs and a laptop fine, its runs great much better than Vista.
