this might and most likely be a stupid question, but if i buy an oem vista home prem. 64bit can you reformat with it as much as you can. i have read many posts and have not seen anything on reformatting, i could of missed it though.

As long as it's same on the computer (motherboard). Though sometimes it may get limited. I have never had that problem though.

Yes, you can reformat it as much as you want, as long as you have a product key and its on teh same motherboard.

Well if you switch out a CPU sometimes it will tell you to reactivate, but it will reactivate with no problem. As for the GPU changing or adding one, Windows will not ask you to reactivate it.

How will you reactivate the system just punch in your cd key.......if so then oem is the way to go for my situ. wayyyy cheaper... thanks again to the people OCN!!!!!

As long as you don't change the motherboard, you can change components as much as you like afaik. I've never had any problems with changing components out.

If it asks you to reactivate Windows, you just click Activate Now, and it'll reactivate it for you.

Done deal hopefully theres no surprises as you can see my system is up there alreadu the only things i will upgrade in the future is more ram to 8gb, crossfire 4870s 1gb, and go quadcore i would like a Q96 but mayb Q95s or Q9450 anything on that 12mb end of cpus.

I just got this mobo and i dont plan on changing it unless it melts of something if i get the same board again i assume no problems. BTW this board is awesome. i will not change this board.
