Are you going with the 64-bit? You have a 64-bit platform, so I recommend it. It should be a little faster than the 32-bit version of Windows 7.

+1 on this, if you have more than 3.5GB of RAM, and can use it to it's advantage.

Very incredible operating system.

I skipped out on purchasing Windows Vista. I think Windows 7 will be an actual purchase for me, and it'll be installed on a MacBook! Ha!

Baker, have fun at work. I worked all night, and have yet to get any sleep. I'm about to do just that though, but this is subscribed, so make sure to post back once you've got it installed so we know that it all went well.

Cheers bud.

Your CPU has to support 64-bit technology, and it's pointless to use the OS without 4GB RAM or more, as it greatly takes advantage of more RAM, plus it's overall a bit snappier.

Windows is my baby I'm always going to love Windows more than OS X. I've used Windows since Windows 1.0. It's been a long time. I love them both, but for the time being, I'm getting more productive use out of OS X, and waiting for Snow Leopard, but Windows is still going to be my favorite

Older systems can only support a 32 bit operating system and smaller. But almost every system you see on Overclock.net is a 64-bit platform, so I guess I'm silly for saying such things.

I think I remember that. Of course, I tend to do that anyway, don't I?
