Vista Ultimate: number of processes after boot?
I've got 42 after getting rid of some programs and services.
__________________Let me know if there's more I can do.  I know there's another thread like this, but I don't wanna revive it.

dude you might want to cut down lol how long does it take for you to be able to use your computer?
well msconfig is your friend if you want to sto some start up processes

Haha, after re-installing vista and some of my programs, not messing with msconfig at all, I have 76 processes running right after boot.

Been on my computer all day, I've got 30 running, I believe I've got about 26 on Start-up.

I've got 65 woof...haha, but there are some that I can disable, like some of the Adobe stuff from my CS3 Master collection such as the mDNSResponder, which is from the Bonjour Service...argh haha

I had a stripped out XP install (benching) that ran with 4 services.
