If it does try transferring the RAID array to the other board and see if it craps out on you.
I repaired a system at a clients bowling alley last week that had very similar issues. Very odd behavior in Windows when it worked and constantly repairing its self upon boot up.
The problem ended up being a faulty PS\2 keyboard of all things. Was a first for me but can't hurt to keep the little things in consideration.
one thing good i read out of this whole thread.

if its corrupted did you make a partition for just the OS. if you didn't that's ok to.

could you try repairing it with a disk? maybe boot to safe mode screen and see if you get anything.

Before you get to the Windows loading screen, press F8. You can choose to disable automatic restarts. This will give you more information because at least then we'll know the stop code. From the F8 screen, after restarting and getting the stop code and any driver file if listed, I would boot into safe mode and see if I could completely uninstall the Nvidia drivers, wipe them with something like Driver Sweeper/Cleaner, and then reinstall them. It sounds like something went screwy with that last driver install. This sounds a bit more like some sort of driver issue than an hardware one, but it's hard to say.

Ah, okay. That makes sense. I'll give those things a try first thing in the morning. Thanks for the help and I will post back soon.

Maybe resetting the Cmos and if you need to backup your files you can install ubuntu on another HDD and do that. (That is if this isn't a hardware failure.)

If it is available to you, and you have a sata/ide converter to USB , remove the drive, place it on a working pc, hit with every virus scan out there, and try to boot again.

If that is not avaialable run this...

http://www.techmixer.com/free-bootab...download-list/

This will help you isolate the problem, and at least give you an idea if its virus-related or not

Also

A Repair Installation is also a pretty low-risk alternative, and essential to determining the problem to be hardware or software

http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm
Also, one very good sign of corrupted hard drives, from my experience, is when you attempt to boot of the XP CD , it will not get past the black loading screen, this also happens with SATA DVDs and SATA Hard Drives as well. So dont be shocked if you get problems trying to boot from the XP CD, This still does not guarentee 100% that you have hardware failure

If you still have the problem, open your case, and judging by your sig, you are using Western Digital Hard Drives , and you can download diagnostics tools here

http://support.wdc.com/product/downl...vel1=6&lang=en

Another great way to test the functionality of your whole system, is to remove your hard drive controller drivers from that K8 machine, stick the HD in the non-working PC, and see if you are receiving any errors, if you don't receive any errors like you are receiving , it is almost definite not hardware.
If you attempt this step, and get a blue screen on boot, perform repair installation.

The most common parts to fail on a PC are PSU, Hard Drive, and Fans.

Alright, I'm getting an "Unmountable Boot Volume" as a stop code. Safe mode does not work either. So, I loaded my RAID drivers and went into Recovery Console. I'm running a Chkdsk /r right now.

If that doesn't work then another option would be to run a fixboot.

Yeah, that's almost always a boot.ini issue. CHKDSK + FIXBOOT should pretty surely take care of that.

Posting from the computer right now. Chkdsk /r did the trick and I am now able to get into Windows. I'm not sure how stable it is right now, we'll see if it lasts through the night. One weird thing though. I get the same errors at startup that I had before it started bluescreening at startup. Are these files damaged and need to be repaired?
