Yeah I have never had an operationg system crash or give me errors or anything weird, linux, mac, windows.

it's been stable. i rarely ever get BSODs, and the only time i need to reinstall is usually because of Linux screwing something up or because a game crashes...

XP still is a very good OS...

XP is very stable, but recently I did a fresh install with a pre SP1 disc.


That sucked.

Our corp. multi license disk for work is SP1 (November 2002) Doing 400 updates to a machine SUCKS. Server SBS 2003 Hates doing Pre SP2 forced updates on that network for some reason as well.

Any reason your didn't slipstream the updates into a new disc?
