Default No signed drivers found. W7

Alright I have downloaded Vista x32 about 10 times. I bought Windows 7 x64 and tried to download just like I did with Vista. When it asks for drivers to reconize the hard drives. I put in my motherboard drivers, just like I would if I were to download Vista. Except I use the Foxconn Bloodrage W7 x64 bit drivers instead of the Vista x32 bit ones. I even tried the vista x64 drivers and the drivers that came in the motherboard driver disc. And it still says No signed drivers were found, please use a cd, dvd, usb, floppy drive, ect.

I've looked around for the last few days when I had time, and still haven't found a fix for this.

I don't think your os should need drivers for your hdds unless you have them in raid.

is it a clean install or an upgrade? if it's an upgrade that may be the problem.

also, if your hdd is one of the 7200.11s you may be in trouble. When I reinstalled my system the notorius firmware issue showed up and killed my drive. luckily it came back a few months later.

Woops forgot to say this is a complete Fresh Install. I need to reconize the drive to format the drive, then install W7 on to the drive. I am booting the pc from the W7 dvd. And when downloading Vista, I always needed the drivers to reconize the disc. Then I could put the Vista Installation disc back in, and it would install fine. But I am having problems with W7. Thanks.

Not sure if this would work for booting off the disks, but I know you can turn off the signed driver requirement if you hit F8 while booting into windows 7 x64. sadly there is no good turn it off all the time.

He linked you directly to the Intel x58 chipset drivers for Windows 7. They are the most up to date. BTW, you should not need to install any drivers prior to installing Windows 7, even if you are installing to a RAID. I installed Windows 7 x64 just fine on my Rampage II Extreme with the Win 7 disk only.

Juist install the OS off the Win 7 disk, then install the chipset drivers DuchieHo linked for you after the Windows 7 install is complete.

I would, but I can't. As I said, when it asks me what drive to download to(I only have one) It doesn't come up with any, same thing happened when I installed Vista. So I put in the motherboard drivers and the drive would show up, but when installing W7 the drive doesn't show up, and it says...No signed drivers were found.

I will try turning off the signed driver thing though. brb.

^ Could that be a reason for anything. I never had this problem when installing Vista x32.

Would you happen to have an USB thumb drive plugged in?
