Angry Comp randomly shuts down HELP!

My comp just randomly shuts down when im typing on msn or changing songs on winamp - very annoying if im in the middle of sumthin - it closes every program individuly n doesnt give me any time to stop it or cancel shut down - its really pidding me off PLEASE HELP!

try a system restore to before this started happening

system restore has literally got me out of all kinds of problems WELL over 35 times! (i am always messing with the settings and failing lol)

nah ive dun that and even reinstalled xp a few times ( like u im always messing up setting and even the occasinal boot screen lol )

yep!, hp's factory restore that you open from the BIOS has got me out of trouble about 5 times now (i just did it again about 2 weeks ago!)

i think it may be some sort of shortcut or sumthing - knowing bill gates its like *Crl + alt + v +f* 2 shutdown
or something

u know of any way of disabling shortcuts?

well when you change songs, your computer has to load it, and in order to load it, the hdd needs to move the head and read the info, then the CPU has to compute it, then output it all these things make a jump in electricity in order to do it, and if your psu can't take it, it will just shut off the computer

are you following me? try a new PSU
