7100 to full windows 7
if there is already a thread of this sorry I could not find it
Ii have windows 7 eval 7100, fairly soon I'm going to get my windows 7 disk, its full and proper, both the 7.1 and the disk are 64bit and ultimate, how do i upgrade? I've heard that you have to completely format your system, i have also heard that there's simpler ways, formatting my system would REALLY bug me as i just got it exactly the way i like it, all my fav programs and games installed etc.. so a little help please?

Just boot from the newer disk, and select upgrade instead of custom when that menus comes up.

thats it? wow.... so i wonder why some people keep saying that you have to completly wipe your computer.....
