Default [XP] Help/support windows open insanely.

For some reason when an EEE PC owned by my girlfriend is on it opens help/support windows constantly, for almost every program. Just over and over and over. I tried disabling the service but then it just keeps telling me the service is off, AND keeps opening them anyways. Reboots don't fix it, safe mode has the issue, told her to pound her F keys and see if any were sticking. Short of a Windows reinstall (on a DVD-drive-less laptop) i am running out of ideas.

Sounds indeed like the F1 key is hanging.. don't really know if there's anything you can do but hammering it, hoping it will stop, or changing they keyboard if that's possible.. good luck!

Maybe i should unplug the keyboard, run it off a USB keyboard. If that fixes the issue then i'll check out EEE parts on Ebay.
