Default Converting to windows 7?

I have a few questions.

Im runing Vista Business on my game rig ( sig rig) that is a School licence through MSDNNA. Can i upgrade to windows 7 using the upgrade package?

Does Windows 7 home premium have the media center?

I have a Dell Latitude D600 that has xp on it. Will i be able to find drivers for its on board graphics and on board wireless card? its getting pretty old.

I have heard i cannot upgrade XP straight to windows 7, i would have to do a clean install. Is that true?

Walmart has a Family pack that allows you to upgrade 3 computers to windows 7 for 159.00. I thought this sounded like a heck of a deal.

buy the full version, its better and the drivers are fine. no incompatibilities here, everything that works in vista will work on 7

where did you get your msdnaa from? if you're still a student and have access to it, they might have win7 on their msdnaa site.

also, no straight upgrade from XP to win 7, although when you install, you can install over xp, making a windows.old folder (copies all of XP's things to that folder from which you can migrate documents, pictures, music, etc from into win7)

Also, if you're upgrading from vista business, you can't do an in place upgrade unless it's to win7 pro or ultimate.

also, driver fro your D600 will work on win7, if there are no direct win7 drivers for it, you can install XP drivers for it (mainly the intel gpu, i did this on an older xps that had xp era intel igp)

actually, enterprise does come with media center i've tested out enterprise, enterprise = ultimate w/o ultimate branding and you need MAK/KMS activation for enterprise)
