my total score is 5.9, my ram was 7.1
i went into game explorer and the rating said there was a hardware change and that i need to re-run the experience assessment. so i did, my ram score went down to 5.9. i have not changed any clocks, ram passes memtest fine, voltage is same. the only thing i have changed was the pagefile, but i changed it back and got the same score. any ideas as to why my ram went down? sig rig on 7 x64

it must have been a glitch, there is no way DDR2 would get a 7.1, even at 1000MHz.

windows experience scores are based on the lowest score on your system. if one component rates at a 5.9 the whole system rates at a 5.9, stupid huh?
