Default How to automatically stop the Licence logging service in Windows 2K3 SBS

Hi, like the title imply I want to know if there's a way to automatically stop the Licence logging service under Windows 2K3 Sbs (Small Buisness Server).

I can't disable it in the services list since it will reboot the server every hours, info directly from MS.

Anyone have ideas?

I have to stop it every single day so that my user have access to the shared files and recently the issue grew worst...

Sounds illegitimate. Maybe if you provide evidence that this isn't you trying to get around having a real license, people may try to help.

If you want I can show you that I don't have any licences in the Licence manager.

BTW this service is DISABLED by default in Windows 2k3 normal edition; it's well written in MS website.

I think you probably should have done this in the server setup.

The question: "Use licenses by device or by server" something along those lines, you need to select by device I think

In SBS you don't have an choice (As I remember).

I understand that I would had been better to do it then but I had to prepare this server in an hurry therefore I've made a lot of small mistake.

If no body want to help me on that I understand, if I found the way I'll let you know.

Thanks anyway.

Ok guys I've found a way to do it with a command line.

Since it may be use for illegal operations I wont post it here but if you google the net you'll find the command pretty easily.

Thanks anyway for the help.

No Hard feeling on my part.
