Unhappy XP Reinstallation problem

Ok so i have a packard bell system, and i'm trying to do a full installation of XP. i;ve tried using F11 key during post but it isn't working. (wich is strange because it has worked before some time ago) and i've also tried using the packard bell smart restore in the support section but thats not working either.

I've just about lost my rag with the DAMN thing so any help is apprieciated.

lol its not a fresh install its called a system restore. what most propriatary computer retailers do is make a restore point at the point of installation. then give you a restore disc to get back to that point. go to start all programs accessories system tools system restore and see how far back you can go.
