well... I had to reformat and installed xp home sp2 on 1 drive 100g ata partitioned to 50g. boot -50g.storage. and xp pro x64 on a 80g serial ata partitioned to 40g. boot, and 40g storage. now I get ntldr missing. press any key to restart. now I went and bought a new xp home sp2 to do this install. I have no ideal what the **** to do. the machine will boot either way when I leave in any windows disk and set bios to boot from cd-rom, if i do not push any key it will boot from either o/s no problem.

I remember encountering this problem on my old DFI nf3 mobo the easy way to fix this if u are using 2 stick of memory pull one out and try all the ram slots. once uhave done installing windows then u can put back the ram in.

Ohh i see i thought u were having problem reinstalling, normaly that problem occurs ( in my experience ) was when ur reformat. now if ur having that problem u may wanna check on ur OC settings. and use sata connector 3 or 4

Thanks!!... I moved the ram to the # 1 and #3 slot and so cool it worked now i set the bios to boot from hdd and it worked! it booted just fine and asked which o/s to boot from!!! thanks to you and oh yes reps to you
