I want something to make my start menu (and the whole task bar) look exactly like that one with the transparency and the cool start button (Windows logo) but I dont want to use any stupid programs like Windows Blinds or anything like that, ideally it would be like the Royale theme I have now but as long as there are no programs (or as long as its free) I'll be ok with it. So does anyone have any links for me?

Hmm, the best one I've found is the good ole Vista Inspirat Brico Pack over at Crystal XP so I'm using that one for now but I'd really prefer if the start button was like the one I linked to above and also I want the windows to be black not white.....

umm is there a vista skin(the whole thing) for windows xp and does it work exactly like xp just wiht a different look or what

Take your pick, I've used a couple of the Brico Packs from CrystalXP.Net and they are all top notch, you won't be dissapointed, the best part is you just extract the file and double click it, its all automatic to install basically.

....what are you guys talking about? Anyways I bought a full version of Window Blinds ($19.95) and I think its worth it, except somehow I stopped a program from starting with Windows and now the alignment of my start menu is a little off LOL so after I fix that this Vista 1.4 skin is awesome, and by the way I installed Vista 1.4 so this thread is closed as far as trying to help me find a skin but if you guys wanna keep talking about whatever it is you were talking about, then by all means go ahead lol.

Which one? Vista 1.4? If you read my above post I said never mind and that I just bought Window Blinds and am using Vista 1.4 which by the way is an awesome skin, too bad the search bar in the start menu isn't real like it will be in the final Vista.....
