Argh!!!!
I got 64bit windows XP and i installed it in a 20gig partition. Installed with out a hitch (except the SATA drivers). Every device was recognised and installed straight away except one. The Onboard Gigabit LAN. I thought to my self, nothing big - ill just get my self over to abit's site and download them. WRONG Lesson 1) The drivers from the site NEVER work first time. Everytime i tried installing the drivers i got the same message: The parameter is incorrect. ***?! I moved on to another site, then another then another. After downloading and installing about 6 different drivers, no luck. *sigh* im on my last leg here - if i cant get 64bit working by 10pm GMT then im packing it in....maybe.The mobo is an Abit Ax8-3rd Eye, the LAN is a IC Plus IP1000 (onboard) Im reinstalling Xp x64 as i type but the chances of it working are slim to non. Anymore suggestions??? The Jester
