My computer randomly loses its wireless signal. I have tried everything to improve the signal but it still goes out. My computer is left unattended the majority of the time, so when my signal craps out, my downloading stops until I click the little connection icon in the tray and choose repair.

Are you running a wireless lan at your location or are you picking up a connection off of a hot spot ?
If you are running a wireless lan, what type of Router / Access Point / Wireless Ethernet - USB are you using ?

I have a Belkin wireless router and Belkin adapter card. I have tried changing channels, turning off all cordless phones, moving the router. I called Belkin and a nice fellow named Aseem tried to help. The signal still craps out and buying new stuff is out of the question. I can live with it disconnecting every once in a a while, I just wan to know if you can have Windows connection manager automatically reconnect.

meh...many Wireless access point signals crap out on themselves. Especially if you are using Super-G or MIMO, since, even though you have a "higher speed" you experience a crapload of packet loss. Use your connection manager to make your wireless connection top priority, and as soon as the signal comes back to life, it will reconnect.
Also, 2.4 GHz phones from Sanyo like to screw up the wireless signal, try using a side band on your router. like. 2.48 it's at a higher band, and most phones stick to the lower wireless bands.

In your router control panel there may be a opton to decide how long the server holds the connection. It's probably under the DHCP part.
