Angry Windows Error code (blue screen)

Upon restarting my computer the other night I came across a problem of .dll files missing and other files being recovered right before I logged into windows. (system check I believe) After it ran the system check I noticed it ran EXTREAMLY slow. So I restarted it again (same problem, files were recovered) and it loads. But this time around I notice I cant do anything other then do something simple open up Firefox. If I try to load msn/HL2 or stuff like that, I get a notice saying missing xxxx.dll file. So afterwards I begin to format and then I get an error code saying

Machine_Check_Exception
0x0000009c (0x00000004, 0x00000000, 0xb2000000, 0x00070f0f

Im assuming this could be one of my devices such as a HD/ram, im hoping its not my processor though. I had a stable overclock of 2400mhrz on a Venice 3000+
Hopefully I can get this running soon though, thanks ahead of time for any thoughts, and/or suggestions

It sounds like a hdd or vid card problem. Start by getting all the latest drivers for your hardware: Mobo/chipset, Video Card, Sound Card, IDE/SATA/RAID Drivers, Newest Bios that way we can rule out faulty drivers. Can you please fill out your user cp 'character profile' section so that we can see what type of system you have?

EDIT: I may have misunderstood the post, are you able to boot into windows at all?

From what I just read you will need to reset to coms before you try and load windows again. I do think that is where the problem is from what I just read. Set everything to stocks speeds and try to load windows again

Im sorry about that, no i cannot boot into windows now. It will get as far as the point of saying its about to install windows. (after you format/partition) But then it will post this error code. The last time I updated my bios was about 2 weeks ago. Im about to clear the bios real fast though, all the settings are at defaults, other then boot priorities. Ill be working on that computer for the next few minutes. Ill check back shortly.
