Default Quick question for installing a fresh copy of windows xp pro

I am installing a fresh copy of windows xp pro. When I create the new partition on the unpartitioned space, it gives me a large partition of 305000 and a small on of 8mb. Which one do I install Windows on? I always have done it on the larger, but wanted to be sure. Thanks!

Install it on the big one so when you install updates it won't get confusing.

It would be impossible to install windows in the 8mb partition. The 8mb are used for NTFS files. You could also create two partitions from the larger one, that way if you ever need to reinstall, you wont lose any of your data.
