Default Server 2003 or XP Pro for a gamer?

I'm going to reformat my 80gig hd soon and have the option to reinstall XP Pro or switch to 2003 server standard or enterprise. Will gaming be affected by running 2003 server? There are some features in 2003 that I would be able to utilize outside of gaming so I'd like to run it if I can.

What do you guys think or know from experience?

Thanks

You gotta be kidding right? Server 2K3 is for File Servers and Domain Controllers - dont even think twice about it. What features of Server 2K3 do you wish to utilise? are you running a mass network?

Talking

I dunno, i dont know much but what i do know is that i have Server 03 Enterprise on one of my spare HDD's and i consitently get high 3dMark scores with it than i do with XP pro... only tweak u have to make is to go into the advanced tab on ur system properties and select for the OS to dedicate more CPU and RAM resources to running programs instead of background services...
