It is possible. Since windows supports active desktop (basically, a website on the desktop) just make a website that displays your webcam live and set it as your desktop. You don't need to host it, you can use the local file.

haha, well I really didn't focus on the length of hte video or anything, I just wasnt sure if there was a program out there that could help and make that kind of effect. The reason I'm mainly wondering is becaue I want to see if there is a program, and if not, somehow see if it's posisbel to maek a program, that works like virtualdub, and has a constant feed w/ the possibiities of filters, and be bale to have that as your wallpaper. I'm not trying to sound conceited or anything, I just wanna see if it works, because some of those photobooth filters were...amusing me for 30 minutes...till I had to go.

EDIT: haha, I didn't see your last post Fishie. So you'r basically saying I can just have my webcam displayed on a website, and can make that full screen (if my cam res will make it that big) and can still treat it like a wallpaper...w/ icons on it and everything?? haha wow

ohhh!! haha that is awesome! So does that mean you cna click the links and everything on that, or is thta just the image of it? And if that is the case, then how the hell did you make an internet window your background, if you don't mind telling. Then it'd all make sense for me, and I can stop bothering you xP

Yes, you can go around overclock.net and read threads on your desktop It's really rather annoying actually with all the icons and stuff in the way though.

To do it, go to the desktop tab in display properties. Then click the large customize button in the bottom left, and select the web tab from the window that pops up. You should be able to figure out the rest
