Default Photobooth on Windows??

OK, I was at Frys the other day, just looking around chilling, and I fell in love w/ this one Mac program called Photobooth. It's like a camera on the monitor that that views you live, like a video, and you can apply filters, such as different shading/colors and other filters that distort your face in numerous ways. I was just wondering if there were any programs like this that you can use on Windows with webcams. I had fun w/ that damn software for quite some time, and am just REALLY hoping I can find a way to put it on my PC or a simlar program. Thanks.

Isight works fine on a windows pc. I've used it before and I think you can use that. you can find it Here I think this will work, look at it though.

Note:I sugest you get a webcam at Walmart, and put the picture in photoshop and voila...you have a homemade photobooth.

well, that's not exactly what I'm looking for. This photobooth program gives your cpu like a live feed of what the camera sees. I'm not talkign abotu just taking pictures and editing, I'm thinking more along the lines of looking at my monitor, and seeing exactly what I look like and am doing atm, then have some assorted filters on it that distort the image.

Like I said, Apple exagerates what they show you. When you have a webcam there is never prefect live action. theres delay. So what i sugest is getting a digital camera that works with your computer and just take videoswith it so it streams to your pc with perfect quality. Then you can edit it later. But i highly doubt that over the internet any webcam would have lag. and the way that they trasnmit isn't high enough for fast action so yeah.

haha, thanks alot bro. Ya, that is the main reason I'm not a fan of Mac. But is there any kind of software that I can put on my cpu that will have different filters, effects, and distortions to a live video feed? Thanks alot for all the info.

With normal webcam setting you can add a bunch of different affects but there all slider affects. Heres the deal, You didnt have filters on the feed, you had filters on the window you were viewing from. so I doubt it would come out like that. but like i said, I sight will do that just i dont quite know how well on widows it works.

oh ya, that's pretty cool xP. Well the one that I saw on Photobooth changed the image on the screen, and you can save it as the picture as well. Such as make it look like thermal vision, night vision, x ray, chrome, all that fun stuff. That is the only thing I want to happen, but whenever I move i want the feed to have the effect too, not just the picture. Photoshop cna fix just the picture like that. It also coudl distort the image to make your head look bigger on some parts, like depending on which part of your head was in the middle of teh camera sight. Or you cna make it fish eyed, and al lthat fun junk.

well, it's a mac program, and I use Windows....so the program itself won't work unless someone does some working w/ it. I was just hoping there was a program like that w/ windows, but i guess not

Photobooth uses something called CoreImage. It's an API built into OS X that makes real-time filtering possible for that kind of stuff. It's gimmicky. Sorry, but I don't think there is a Windows equivilent.
