Default XP Pro + RAID = Boot issues

Hey all,

I've got a rather odd problem on my hands...

I've got my two Seagate HDD's installed (SATA II, 80GB)

Upon trying to load windows my system often hangs as soon as the Windows Loading Screen appears... The HDD LED just stops blinking all together.

I reboot does it again, i ebnd up having to cold start my pc a few times before anything will decide to work... it's really annoying me to no end, i've gone and spent a ton of cash on this rig, and well the raid aint working, andy ideas? is it a windows issue? or is it something deeper, like BIOS???

Thanks in advance for any comments

I am using the NVraid drivers, they are the latest i could find as well... i should probably look for some newer ones...

the raid worked fine on my SIl 3114 chipset, except i want it to work on my SATA II chipset as these drives are SATAII and all...

I am using V5.10.2600.552 from Nvidia Corporation.. they are not digitally signed

Since I'm not running sata II, I may not be able to help, did your DFI come with the raid drivers? I know in most cases they do and they should work in and with sata II. I do use the Nvidia drivers and they they work very well with and on my rig, but I would check and see if your MB came with the drivers
