I host a site on my computer, and when there is a power failure, my computer restarts and stays at the loging screen, but is not connected to the internet cause the wifi driver didnt start, I need to have a pass so I can use remote desktop.

I think there is a way to do it in windows... but not sure how to manually do it. However, MS issued a non-supported utility named Tweakui. You can download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

Scroll halfway down, and the utility can be downloaded from the menu on the right. This utility has the option of automatically logging in with your password (make sure to enter the same pw in tweakui as the one you use for Windows)

I know not everything is nice about it...but it works for the auto-login. There has to be a way to do it manually (probably registry edit or so)...

Ok, here's a little lesson for ya.

Click start, then run.

Type in control userpasswords2

Hit Enter.

Uncheck the box for users are required to login or something like that and hit apply. Then put in the user and pass of the account you want to always login. Done, now go have a beer. If you need to login under a different acoount, just hold the left shift button after you logout or right after the XP splash screen.

EDIT: Aww you had to google it! No fair! I knew that off the top of my head.
