Default The Point Of Administrator Account on XP Pro
Heres the story, I installed windows and I kept using the ADMINISTRATOR account for my main account, I installed games and everything on it.


then I made another account (this account had admin access also) just for music and as soon as I made the other account the ADMINISTRATOR account disapeard... I googled and issue and I found a way tog et it back.


my question is, what is different between a Normal account with admin acccess and the actual ADMINISTRATOR account?

The admin account has pretty much the profile for every windows machine. Hackers target that account first because most people don't change the default info.

no difference, it switched everything to the new account.

it didnt switch nothing over, i dont think.

When I started a new account it had a default background and everything

ADMIN account is a system wide account as such and can change all settings and profiles..Alimited or normal account cant do everything that an Admin account can do. Always password your Admin account as people target that account to get control over your system.

This is not true. There are some differences between the admin account and an account with admin rights. Trust me on this one.

As said there are differences as such with an Admin account all profiles and system changes are allowed and accesible as with a local account or limited account this is not always possible.

But EVERYTHING I do is on my ADMIN accont. is this bad or anything?

when I said differences I mean is it ok to play games on admin account and everything?
