Default home vs pro

dont try to talk me out of it - i'm going apple for my college laptop. the black macbook is soooooooooooo sexy - and what's $200 compared to the $190,000 i'm about to shell out ($80,000 after fin aid and scholarships)

but...on to my question
i'm not giving up my windows just to go to mac - i'll just run boot camp. but the problem is that i bought oem pro from newegg, so its only good on one comp. if i go home edition xp for my macbook, will it be so much worse than pro that i'll want to kill my lappy? this is only the second os on my second comp - so its not like i'll be working in xp home all the time. if its just occasional usage, is it all right to go home?

Unless you need to connect to a MS NT/2000/2003 Domain you'll be fine. As far as i know, that is THE critical difference.

You won't notice the difference.....Major difference is internal...Pro has some better networking support of interest to network administrators
